Question php_value upload_max_filesize 10M

Hi there

I used the configuration directives

php_value upload_max_filesize 10M
php_value memory_limit 10M
php_value post_max_size 10M

in my .htaccess file on a shared server.

But I got a 500 server error. It gives the same error even if I use any 1 or 2 of the above directives.

What gives. Please help out

Thanks!!

Simple, you cannot change php configuration in apache .htaccess file, it has to be changed in the php.ini
shared webserver, most likely a hosting service, you would have to ask them to allow your site scripts to have a file upload size of 10 MB.
