PHP Warning after upgrading from PHP 5.2.1 to 5.3.1 on CentOS

Hello,

I just upgraded from PHP 5.2.1 to PHP 5.3.1

I am getting the following warning afterI run php-v:

PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib64/php/modules/dbase.so' - /usr/lib64/php/modules/dbase.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: mhash: Unable to initialize module

I think my problem has to do with not all of my libraries are x86_64

[root@Jaybird ~]# yum list installed | grep php

I think I need to remove to .i386 files but I am not sure how to do that safely.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

is php-dbase installed?

rossie 12-20-2009 11:58 AM

I don't think php-dbase is installed. At least I didn't have the intention too. :)

you have 2 options ...install php-dbase ...php should then find the dbase.so ..or edit php.ini and remove the reference to that module.

I tried installing php-dbase

Package php-dbase is obsoleted by php-common, trying to install php-common-5.2.12-1.el5.art.x86_64 instead
Package matching php-common-5.2.12-1.el5.art.x86_64 already installed. Checking for update.
Nothing to do

Do you have the syntax on how I can remove the modules from php.ini?
