Permitting a user to write to another users home directory
Hi,
On my Mandrake 9.1 I have created three users , say A,B,C. D is another user whom I want to give permission so that he can write to the home directories of A, B,C (without changing the set of permissions A, B,C have for their respective home directories.) . How can I do that?
Another idea: you could create an E directory, where everyone has full RW privs, and all users could access it to share any common files. I'm likewise a little confused as to why exactly you would want to allow D to RW to A, B, and C. If I were A, B, or C, I certainly would not like the idea that D was messing with my stuff. Just my 2 cents -- J.W.
