Question permission denied


what is procedure to remove or denied to permission denied in (/dev/null)( i use the user name:root) radhat linux (HP server) ?

Permissions is one important lesson that a newbie in Linux must get familiar to. You have to learn it by reading the tutorial available in the link hereunder my signature. Download it and read about 'permissions'.

I agree, your qn is unclear. Please write in more detail, preferably with an examples.
Also, can you post the result of

cat /etc/redhat-release

so we can see exactly what version you have. In fact, please add it to your profile.
