permission denied


im new to linux and im trying to install flash when i go to
the terminal and enter it in it says permission denied
im the only user

Lielihood is that you are not root when you go to install it. Which distro are you on?

Likelihood is that you are not root when you go to install it. Which distro are you on?

Isn't that Flashplayer in Ubuntu repository? And installable thru package manager?

try typing sudo before your command of installing flash player..
it will ask 4 ur password and will install.
