Permission Denied

The problem is when i install a game or app or any software that you have to start by running a executable i keep getting this message when i run the executable. ex.

Cannot launch entry

Details: Failed to execute child process "/media/Linapp/games/q3demo/q3demo" (Permission denied)

The permission on the file / folders are all set to read write and execute.

running Ubunt linux....

hi there,

first of all you should not double post. it is against the rules!
now, concerning your question i think you are trying to run someting from a disc.
probably you are running the wrong executable. you should install the soft // apps.
i have no idea how this demo should work, just sounds like you are trying to write something in a
removable disc..
