./ permision denied?????

When I try to run a program through a shell with ./ it gives me this error.

Code:
bash: ./ permission denid
If I actually type in bash, than it lets me. What can I do to change this?

Is the program executable for your user or group?

Sounds like you have 2 copies:
1. local in your dir, not executable by you
2. another somewhere else, but in your $PATH, is executable by you
