Perl Debugging in RHEL - 5

Dear All,
we are migrating an application from HP unix to RHEL-5.
It contains some cgi's written in perl. we have a tool to send request to these cgis.
After sending request to the particular cgi say a.cgi, it returns the response with success or failure and updates mysql db.
I am getting some wrong results are updated in DB, but i am not able to see which sql it is using.
I am new to Perl, can any body throw some ideas on this.

If a.cgi is written in Perl, then that's a src code lang, so all you need to do is read it.
IOW, on the disc, you get the src code eg like you would for SQL. Perl is compiled on the fly when it is run, but that 'executable env' is not saved to disc.

Thanks for reply and sorry for my late reply.
We modified the CGI file to take the parameters from command line and we debugged which sql to modify.

Once again thanks.
