Perl 5.10 update?


Hi!im a newbie to linux and i was how to update my perl to 5.10?can anybody help me on how to do this?

You need to provide details if you want answers. How software is upgraded/installed depends a lot of what distro you use as package managers vary.

If you put your distro info in your profile you won't have to keep answering that one.

well thanks for the reply umm i cant seem to put my info in my profile hmm thats weird hmm i wonder why hmm man i suck!hehe well umm im using now ubuntu 8 and the perl here is 5.8.8 i would like to upgrade it to perl5.10 can u please tell me
