PDA phone and linux

I currently run Ubuntu...

I am considering getting the Blackberry storm phone or the samsung saga.
Currently i have the palm treo 700w and cannot seem to get it to sync to my linux laptop. Its a CE device and uses hotsync.

So my question is what pda phone are people using and how easy are they to sync to your ubuntu computer.

I cannot get my windows partition working right now for some reason on my linux laptop Boot loader wont see it so I figured that i would be OK if i can get the phone to sync to linux.

Thought?
Thank you

I found this site but no read me on how to install the software. I tried several things and I can see the enth1 and the device show up in dmesg.
