pcmcia prob.....

ok i got it all instailed mandrake and it loaded everything and when it gets to the pcmcia it doesnt go.... then i read in a forum, that to unplug the ethernet cable did that then rebooted then ... i got pased that the it stop at "starting pcmcia""
isnt a pcmcia the slot on the side of my lap top??
i bought my laptop w/ a internal wlan card and dont have a card to put in the slot ....
wut sould i do or wut am i duing wronge???
thx

Yes, PCMCIA is the insertable card. Since you have an internal wireless card, you have to figure out what kind of chip you have in it. I don't know about this since I am still trying to get my PCMCIA card to work.

But if you post the kind of chipset it has maybe someone else can help you to configure it.
