PCLinuxOS Boot from ISO"located on my HD"!!

I'm installing windows (Windows partition+1 swap partition.
1-I wanna kno how to boot from the PCLinuxOS.iso using something like the CHEATCODES on knoppix:
tohd and fromHD.

2-Can PClinuxOS boot from HD without a boot floppy or Cd (I mean by using a software(boot manager.. I dunno how it's called exactly), that can be installed on WindowsXP Pro? I hate using lilo or grub or Qemu!!
I'm run out of blank CDs, I've to travel for some 200KM to get some!! please help me.

As far as I know, the only cheat code for PCLOS is the home=/mnt/sda*

If you've got Windows, you can get VMware Workstation (not free) or VMware Server (free) and create a virtual machine with a physical partition (you will have to make it before you make the virtual machine)and you can install PCLOS from there. You'd have to use LILO, though. I don't see what your problem is with it. I use it, and I find it to be better than the one that's default to Windows.

Another thing you could do (which would require a CD, just not immediately) is make a normal virtual machine in VMware Server or Workstation and use the ISO for booting. After that, take a USB thumbdrive and plug it into your computer (after you boot PCLOS in the virtual machine) and it will automaticaly be mounted in the virtual machine by VMware Server/Workstation. From there, go to %SYSMENU%/Configuration/kusbhome (%SYSMENU% is the system menu) and make a home image on you thumb dive. Once you get ahold of a CD, burn the ISO and boot into PCLOS with you thumbdrive in your comp. When the boot command screen loads, type the command (I think)" linux home=/mnt/sda1 " You may have to change your drive number. Check in from VMware for the drive number if sda1 doesn't work.
Hope this helps!

Oh. I forgot.
If " linux home=/mnt/sda1 " doesn't work, try " pclinuxos home=/mnt/sda1 "
I haven't used anything but the PCLOS CD I remastered for a while now, so if I'm correct, it should have the command for this on the boot prompt screen (it did on older versions of the LiveCD)

And I just remembered: I had gotten a reply on another forum with directions for directly booting from an ISO. I'll try and find it, but no guarantees.

EDIT:Sorry. It would seem that everything requires you to burn a CD that points to an ISO image. I do belive that Knoppix CDs have an option for this but I'm not sure. You can check the cheatcodes.txt for a command like that. If you were going to do that, you would have to create a 750MB FAT32/EXT3 partition to put the image on.

EDIT (Again): take a look at this link.
http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtop...r=asc&start=20

And if you've got a Knoppix CD, try this:
knoppix bootfrom=/dev/hda1/pclinuxos.iso
to boot from an ISO (works with EXT2/3 and NTFS) but if you've got an HP computer, it would be /dev/hda2/pclinuxos.iso

First create a VMTN account .Just register in the forum and then go here:
http://www.vmware.com/programs/8/serverbeta.do

VMware Server Beta in very much in devel, and free. You may want to wait for July 13th, though. All of the serial numbers will expire for the current versoin of VMware Server. They can still be used in the new version, though.

Once you make a virtual machine, right click on it's tab>Settings>CD-ROM 1>Use an ISO image>Choose ISO.
