Pb with RedHat 7!

I've tried to install red hat linux 7 with set box.( purchased)
but SCSI was not recognised. (SCSI: 0 Hosts)
and when I choose the installation method (workstation installation), I get this error:
An error has occured- no valid devices were found on which to create new filesystem. Please check your hardware for the cause of this pb!

can someone please help me? and how to configure my SCSI controller manually.
(SCSI = storage, HighPoint Technology Inc, HPT 366 Ultra, DMA66 controller )

Thanks

haven't worked with rh7, but i do know that with most distros you have to select a scsi enabled kernel before you install packages. i'm assuming you did that though, right?

again, i'm not familiar with rh7, sorry what i can tell you is that on most distros there is like an advanced booting options, and usually there is a place where you specify what kernel you want to use.

try asking the question in the redhat forum. you should get a flood of responses. good luck!
