Password not saved

I have never had this problem in the 12 years I have been visiting forums. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Well you posted this question in linux-newbie section not in linuxquestions section..also what browser you are using? Did you check "remember me" option? Maybe you changed something before this encounter that would affect this.
p.s.You are multi accounting? Because your current profile is created in 2011 not 12 years before..

Talking

Thanks but I think I know how to tick "remember me" and to clear cookies since I have been around computers for 12 years. I have Cookie Monster to take care of the cookies.

No problem at the moment. Last two times I visited the forum I was recognized as the old geezer I am. Problem fixed it's self I suppose.

if you recenlty deleted history, there is an option on most browsers to delete everything but passwords ... Maybe you accidently let it forget you. and since you logged back in it now remembers again. Same deal happens if you delete browser cache.

I did not say that you did not know about cookies It was just a tip that can do the trick.

If the issue is solved, please mark your thread as solved using the thread tools above the first post.

PS I hate these things that solve themselves

I quite often wipe out passwords on forums. Just store them using password gorilla.:
