Partitions - permission denied

I've newly installed Fedora Core 5. Also i have a windows partition and a OS-free partition. The OS-free partition is currently Fat32 because of problems reaching it with FC when it was NTFS. But still FC cant mount the drive - it claims that I dont have the permission to do so. How can this be? And what should I do?

you're presumably not root. you need to be root to mount partitions, or have them predefined in /etc/fstab as partitions that users are allowed to mount.

Yes, i've tried both logged in as root and with root-permissions. And it didn't work....

you need to provide evidence of this sort of stuff... command lines, error messages etc...
