Partitions for 40 gigs

I have a 40 GB hard drive for RedHat Linux 8.0, I was wondering what partition sizes I should use for everything.
I've read other posts about partitions but I'm not sure what sizes they should be for my 40 GB drive.
I have 512 MB of RAM, and Windows XP on a seperate hard drive if you need to know lol.
I also want to have space to run a website with Apache.

Could someone tell me what sizes I should use for the partitions? I've read that the swap should be double my RAM but I've also read that large swap space slows the system down.

Thanks in advance.
