partitioning question

Hello,

I have MDK 9.1 installed and it is giving some problems.
I am going to do a reinstall.
I have 7.9 Gig. of space with 1 user.
How should I partition it, as far as mount point, size and type of file system (ext 2 or 3 or journelized???)

Thanks for your help,
digger

For newbies I ALWAYS suggest simply giving all your space to a single partition and that should be / (root) Everything gets mounted there anyway, so your space will be devided evenly.

Filesystem, go with ext3 out of the 2 you've suggested.

Cool
