partitioning HD to install windows 8.2


Please advise on steps to partion 100% Linux hard-drive for windows 8.2 install. My wife has to use MS Office and doesn't want to use the Linux comparables. thank you, Tom - St.Louis

MS Windows is very primitive, I do not think in can be installed alongside of another operating system. The easiest would be to install it into another hard drive. If you must use the same drive for some reason be prepared to reinstall Linux.

mind you MS office will take up a TON of drive space
on a Win7 install the OS +MS office2012 took up 38 gig of the 40 gig partition

had to reformat and enlarge the windows c drive 40 GIG was TOO SMALL!!!!!!
