Ok,
I have been running WinXP Home and used PartitionMagic8.0 to make a 1GB(first mistake) Linux partition and a swap patition. I am trying to install RedHat7.3(it came with my school book) but I'm 280MB too short on the partition. So...
I try to boot back to WinXP but it is trying to boot from the 2nd partition(which is my swap drive for Linux now) That was my second mistake. I shouldn't have put the 2 new partitions infront of the WinXP partition. I've tryed editing the boot.ini so that it points towards the 4th(WinXP partition now), but I can't seem to edit it directly. Just thru bootcfg which doesn't help.

What do I do?

Boot with partition magic bootdisk and restore it to the original configuration, then
after you verified that you're able to boot into winxp do the partitioning again but this time make sure you create partitions from the end of the drive, and give it say 3-4 gigs.
If that didnt help try booting with winxp CD and do a repair install(not recovery console).
