Partition Size Requirments

Roughly how big should a partition be to install a Linux OS such as SUSE, Ubuntu, Fedora? I have a 36GB Raptor for my OS's and a 500GB for "stuff".

The website for the distro you are interested in will list the minimum requirement but, in general, if you set aside 8~15GB you'll have more than enough room to play.

For a basic installation, 5GB should be OK. With all my data in separate partitions, I normally use ~8-10GB for each Linux install.
