Partition Issue
 

Hello all,

Some one just gave me a fairly new computer with two hard drives.

Windows is installed and there are two versions of Linux installed. Suse 9.2 and Lycoris Linux.

I want to delete the Lycoris Linux and keep Windows and the Suse Linux.

Problem I can't tell which Partitions have Suse in them and which ones have Lycoris. I can use the space so Lycoris has to go.

How can I determine which Linux occupies which partitions.

Is each swap partition specific to each Linux?

Any help dopeing this out will be appreciated.

Boot one of the Linux and look at the contents of /etc/fstab. That should list the partitions and which distro is in them.

You only need one swap partition since the Linux that is running is the only one that can use swap.
