Partition gone missing

Hi Guys,

It so weird. When i restarted my system, one of the partition gone missing. It was a normal restart without any disk error. I also assume it is not a hard disk error because other partitions in the hard disk are shown. Missing Partition is also not showing in fdisk. Any idea what went wrong ?

check your fstab file whether your partition and the mount point is mentioned there.

Is it a extended partition or inbuilt created partition

what do you get when you give
Code:
#df -h

#fdisk -l

Which was that partition? Check your /etc/fstab file entry whether the entry of that partition is there or not?

Hello,

On further digging into the issue , it was file-system corruption. I did a disk check and it is now mounted correctly. Thanks for the help guys

Thanks
