Partioning Problem

I have a small computer which I am going to install Linux 7.1 on. The HD is only a 2GIG drive, so pretty barebones, and it is going with a server install to basically be an email and web server. I have tried to use the automatic partitioning; however, when it comes to the portion of the install to format and create the partions, I get an error message stating that /usr is short by 300 someodd MB and the installtion is aborted.

What would the minimum partion tables look like for a server install on a 2GIG drive? Or does anyone know what I can do to go around this problem?

i def. recommend not using automatic partitioning - you dont have enough space.
maybe check this for an idea of how much you'll need.
http://www.debian.org/releases/stabl...artition-intro
(its debian...but it'll apply to most distros)

if you install barebones (depends how barebones rh gets), then you should be fine. if you can fit it in, maybe try a different distro (hint, hint: debian)
; )
