Panic! No panel on desktop
 
i need help .... i think i have closed my panel in kde Revision 3.00.00 (2002-01-18). and i find no way to bring it back ... i've tried almost every possible method i could find on the internet but still no result. please help me if you know ... i'm kind of worried. thank you

1. In KDE open the KDE menu (lower left-hand corner).
2. Go to Settings->Desktop->Panels
3. Configure the panel the way you want it. Look particularly at the Hiding section.

alt+F2 then type kicker
If for some reason that doesnt work use alt+F2 to open konsole and start kicker from there.

Why distro are you using that your KDE version is that old?

It helps to say what distro you are running as well as putting it in your profile so people do not have to ask.

Now that you mention it, alt+F1 tends to bring up a panel (or at least my panel) when it goes missing.
