pango , unusual errors


i was installing pango-1.4.0

"./configure" ran fine but when i did "make" i got this errors


fribidi.c:1044: `embedding_level_list' undeclared (first use in this function)
fribidi.c: At top level:
fribidi.c:1054: syntax error before "ch"
fribidi.c: In function `pango_unichar_direction':
fribidi.c:1056: syntax error before "fribidi_ch_type"
fribidi.c:1058: `fribidi_ch_type' undeclared (first use in this function)
make[4]: *** [fribidi.lo] Error 1
make[4]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/gtk/pango-1.4.0/pango/mini-fribidi'
make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/gtk/pango-1.4.0/pango'
make[2]: *** [all] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/gtk/pango-1.4.0/pango'

is it normal for it to spit that out ?

can i run "make install" without any problems??

Well, this is a bug in the code. somtimes you can fix these yourself but assuming you don't know c++, you should report this as a bug.

then, install an rpm for your distribution instead. these usually work better if you can find them.
