pam_unix in logfile
 
when i run
# cat /var/log/messages
i find some surprising messages for ex:
su ( pam_unix ) : session opened for user cyrus by uid = 0
can anyone xplain whats this ???

The UID if 0 belongs to the superuser (root), so it looks like root opened a session for the user cyrus via su. Cyrus is an IMAP (mail) server. Do you have it installed on your machine?
