Hello,

What exactly do you need? What are you trying to accomplish? What distribution are you using? Also, I highly recommend that you read the man page for pam_tally - http://linux.die.net/man/8/pam_tally
You can also use the man command from your terminal.

Not helpful. Our man pages don't have the answer to may straight forward inquiry.

What do you mean your man pages? And what exactly is your inquiry? All you asked for was command options and descriptions.....
