PAM help?

Howdy all,

I am looking for some information on how to setup a linux box to allow windows AD to control the verification of files/folders on the linux box. I think that PAM is what i am looking (or is it?). Could someone could send a URL (or two or more) that would explain to me exactly (step by step would be nice) what i need to do to configure PAM? Or better yet, if I am on the wrong track please let me know.

I am currently running a RH9 box with Samba installed. I can join the box to WIN AD (2K) and see the folders that I shared in Samba from a windows box. But not always do I have control over the shares from my win box.

If this seems a little spacie its after 2 and i need some sleep. Let me know if I am on the right track and also if anymore info is needed. One last thing, I was wanting to do this all in command line (only one true way to learn linux i heard). Thanks for any help!

There is no "I" in "TEAM" but there is an "M" and an "E".
