Pacman disk space error

I run arch linux from a usb
When I try to install gnome by:
pacman gnome
It downloads the files but gives me a low disk space error while installing them
I have checked the drive space on windows and it shows me 3.4 gb is free
While gnome requires only 1.3 gb of disk space while installation
I have the files in the var/cache/pacman/pkg folder
And they are All in tar.xz format
I would also like to know how to install all of them from the folder instead of individually installing each file.

Thanks in Advance,
Pelovises

have you read and reread the Arch wiki
and the install guide and user guide and the "arch way"

Arch is so well documented that that documentation can also be used for other distros

This might not be relevent but..

I think arch unpacks stuff and compiles them in /tmp before installation, have you checked that /tmp has space (run df -h in the command line)? PS! if you are compiling programs they require more space during compile time than their final binary install size.
