Hi,
I am a newbie to linux. I am looking for packet injection tools that have a programmable time interval between the generated packets. I am running short of time.
I would be happy to receive any information or instruction on the tools.

What's the background for that need?

Most cases, yes.

However, if your reason is ethical, 'aircrack-ng' has a comprehensive set of tools, including a remarkable and extensible packet injection program.

Hello,
I need to develop a low latency packet generator at the kernel layer.But before doing that I need to see if there are any packet generators that can generate packets at specific time intervals .
I would be happy to receive any information or instructions on custom packet generators at the kernel layer.

I believe what Tinkster and leopard are asking is "Why do you need to do these things?"

If it's for an ethical purpose, then we can help, but if it's for something illegal (e.g. hacking into a private network without their consent), then we can't and won't.

There's already a packet generator built into the kernel -- provided your kernel has it compiled. See here to read about the pktgen.ko module:
