package install failed when asking for red hat linux CD 3
I'm trying to install Synergy on my Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 ES box, and I'm having a hard time with it. I've done it before on a different box so I'm confused as to why I'm having trouble on this box:
I downloaded the .rpm file, double-clicked on it, and the package installation started happening automatically, then it asked me for Red Hat CD 3, I put it in and clicked OK, and it kept on asking me again as if I inserted the wrong CD. So I clicked cancel and decided to start the installation over again. But whenever I double-click on the .rpm file it says that this package is already installed. But the package didn't completely install, whenever I try to launch Synergy it says it's missing some libraries, please help. |
Check your media and drive. It's also possible the disc might not be mounting when you insert it.
