This isn't hacking, as in trying to get something for free by changing the software. I am troubleshooting a problem with the Linux computer that runs this game. Remember when we were kids and would go to those places that had Skee Ball, and basketball games where you would win tickets and exchange them for prizes. This is a newer type of game that goes in those arcade centers. It is made by ICEGame.com. and this is their page on it. http://www.icegame.com/p-150-deal-or-no-deal.aspx
These games aren't cheap, this one was 15K and their parts aren't cheap either. They are always vague on support questions and their answer is usually to buy a new part from them. The Motherboard went out and they wanted to only sell me a complete new computer. I found a Mother board that should work according to others but I am having a problem during the boot process.
The game comes up with a LILO message. I read a little about this and I guess this is a boot process that sets up the game, and hangs with the last thing stating MODPROBE Nvdia Is there a way to step through the loading and figure out what it is looking for and not finding? That is basically what I need to figure out.
