I have about 1GB of Outlook2003 .pst stored in my computer. My email is organized in several folders and subfolders, and I have many attachments.

I am looking for a way to convert my .pst files into something that can be imported into Evolution. I have tried PWARDY's method (see http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...d.php?t=262097) of importing Outlook 2003 .pst files into Evolution .mbox ones. Evolution, as mentioned, imports single mbox files which makes the process painstaking! (I too have over 50 folders and subfolders).

However, the process is not 100% effective. For some reason, some emails are imported into Evolution and displayed as raw HTML files, while others (more "simple" emails) are imported without a problem. Also, some attachments were completely destroyed during the transition. I opened a bug report (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=412411) to attempt to fix the problem.

I wish there was a better way to "Make the Switch"...
