Orinoco Wireless PCI

Has anyone gotten the orinoco with a pci adapter to work? My limited research makes me think that it will only work in a pcmcia slot. However, do they even make desktop motherboards with pcmcia slots? If I can't use the orinoco_cs driver with a pci adapter, can somebody recommend a wireless network card for a desktop pci only computer?
