first of all Congratulation to run a tremendous site, which help the needy and passionate people. I want to learn that but i cant find a right person.
Actually in our environment, we run Oracle Red-hat Linux 5.9.
I want to become a Linux administrator.
I have following experience of Oracle Red-hat Linux 5.9.

1. Linux Installation 5.9
2. Driver installation
3. IP Installation
4. How to set admin password
5. How to join domain
6. How to set system name
7. How to check system partition drives
8. How to access any specific folder
9. How to install specific software
10. How to off firewall

I would like to request the admin please, i want to do something new in Linux if anyone help me for learning...

have you contacted Oracle tech support?
oracle 5 is a clone of Redhat 5

5.9 is old
rhel5.12 is current in the old legacy hardware support os

5.9 install experience will only help on OLD , very old hardware

the current is RHEL 7.0

learn the current RHEL 7.0

a lot of things have CHANGED in the last 10 years

We will all be happy to help you...but you actually have to ask a QUESTION first. Just saying "help me for learning", doesn't tell us ANYTHING about what you want to learn, or in what direction you want to move. If you post a specific question, we can help.

As JohnVV pointed out, Oracle and/or Red Hat Linux are NOT FREE operating systems...if you're using them without paying, you're already going to have problems, since installing any new software will be MUCH more difficult, and the software you DO have will be insecure, unpatched, and unupdated. Load something free, such as CentOS if you absolutely NEED server-functionality. Otherwise, load Fedora, Debian, Mint, or openSUSE.

So what is your actual GOAL? What are you trying to accomplish?

who's the flavor should be install and what will be configuration?

Several were mentioned before...pick one. Squid works on pretty much ANY distro of Linux. And the 'configuration' will be whatever you want, since YOU have to configure it to match your network and usage needs.

If you really want to learn, should't YOU be reading the squid manual, and determining how to install and configure it, rather than asking us for an already-done configuration?
