Unhappy Opps! Mepis 3.3 took over my windows partion!?

I had a 30gig windows partion and about 15gig unallocated. I went to install mepis and it ended up taking my whole drive, why?

what are the steps to having a dual boot laptop, ie. xp pro and mepis?

thanks,

m

I suspect you make a mistake.
I set up Mepsi on a 160Gig drive - I left a 20 Gig partition in case I wanted to put Win on it at some stage.

Total usage for Mepis is less than 30 Gig - there is still more than 100 Gig unallocated.

So it is certainly do-able.
