Dear Community,
I am trying to download the newest Kubuntu. All works fine untill the last Percent. Here Opera abrupptly closes with no message. Other downloads work.

First, i honestly think downloading 600+mb through a browser is a bad idea. Second, have you tried it using other browsers, Firefox, Konqueror, Flock etc.. Third, try running Opera from the terminal and see if you get any error messages.

I suggest you try downloading using a ftp client like Kget or a bit-torrent client like Azureus.

Did this happen all on the same mirror? I don't know why Opera would do that, but an easy try is a different mirror. If that doesn't work, try another browser or BitTorrent.
