opensuse 13.1 - without any sound at all: tried out a lot of things

on opensuse 13.1 i have no sound at all - well i tried serveal things but untill now - without any sucess

well - what do i need to do now:


do i have to find out the right configuration

no sound ?
or just no "system sounds"

no beeps
or
YouTube has no sound
if only youtube ( and like)
you need to install the "RESTRICTED formats"
search the opensuse wiki for multimedia
and you will find it

also form "Realtek ALC269VB"
am i right in GUESSING that this is a LAPTOP ?

some laptops might have sound issues
have you gooled that "Realtek ALC269VB"

It's been a long time since I've used a SuSE distro, but there used to be a sax / sax2 utility for configuring the sound driver(s). Perhaps a place to start. And Yast / Yast2 for other admin type stuff. User in the audio group, unmuted audio channels and all that jazz.
