Opensource equivalent of Tahoma in Windows

I want an open source equivalent of Tahoma in windows. Had been using windows fonts and now I am ditching it completely.

If you don't have Lucida Sans, look at Liberation Sans, DejaVu Sans, or Nimbus Sans. They're all very similar, although Nimbus is a bit more Arial-like. In a large size, for display work, URW Gothic makes a change.
