Opening new windows in specific monitor

Hi

I have dual monitor setup, so that my secondary monitor is situated left of my primary one. I'm spannig my desktop to that monitor.

Now when I open new window, it tends to open in to right top corner of the desktop, so it opens in my secondery monitor or between them. Is there a way to specifie monitor wich all new windows are opened?

Thank you in advanced.

Depends on the desktop/window manager ...

In Fluxbox 0.1.14 with remember patch I can force a program
to re-open in place and with dimensions as it was when
I closed it ...

Cheers,
Tink

ok, silly me, I forgot.

I'm using Fedora Core 2 and KDE.

There is option store window settings, but somehow it doesnt seem to work. It might work for a few times, but then some program opens ,for example, firefox window, and it opens in wrong monitor.
