How to do? Not sure what sort of info to state.

What sort of database files? Paradox?

I'm not sure what sort of db... part of the problem, I suppose.
Someone else created it, and I want to view it.
Are there properties somewhere I can view?
Or how would I find out which db is installed on the machine?

Doesn't leave much to go on...

Which distribution/version of linux are you running?
Try using OpenOffice if installed.

I am leaning toward Berkeley database but I am not familar with how it works.
