opening a folder in FC3


hi all,
When i open a folder in my FC3 desktop,every folder is opened in a new window which is a bit annoying for me.Do i ve any option to set lik "open every sub folder in same window" which is possible in windows?

Yes, however, i forget what desktop environment FC3 uses. In KDE, it should be in settings->configure konquerer (in the file managers menu), it should be first possible option in "behavior". In GNOME, its either something similar, or, look in the control center (i dont have GNOME on hand at the moment, so i cant be more helpful there).

On Gnome you open Nautilus (the file manager, any window does so just open some directory and you're on the right track), in it from the menu open Settings dialog. I don't have Nautilus at hand now but I recall it was in the "Edit" menu or somewhere near. Anyway, in that settings window there're two options: open every item/directory in new window or open them in the same window (again, can't remember exact texts but it's very clear). Select the option to only use one window and exit; next time you open a directory using Nautilus it should use one window for them all.

hi thanks a lot.i found "behaviour" tab.the exact option is "always open in browser windows".

Good. Forgot to mention, I would probably remember the exact terms but I'm not using the desktop in English so even if I do remember what it says somewhere, it's unprobable I translate it in the exact form it is in Enlish translation of the program.
