OpenGeu 8.10 Frustrations!
All righty now, I am going to first copy down the code that tells you the story....
BraseroWodim process finished with status 255
BraseroWodim called brasero_job_error
BraseroWodim finished with an error
BraseroWodim asked to stop because of an error
error = 0
message = "no message"
BraseroGenisoimage stopping
BraseroGenisoimage got killed
BraseroGenisoimage disconnecting BraseroGenisoimage from BraseroChecksumImage
BraseroChecksumImage stopping
BraseroChecksumImage disconnecting BraseroChecksumImage from BraseroWodim
BraseroChecksumImage closing connection for BraseroChecksumImage
BraseroWodim stopping
BraseroWodim got killed
BraseroWodim closing connection for BraseroWodim
Session error : unknown (brasero_burn_record burn.c:2527)
I've received this message 6 TIMES. I downloaded the torrent from the OpenGeu site. I double checked my burn settings... I've been looking for the source code...
The reason why I am downloading this is because I really liked enlightenment and I though I would try this new OS... but It won't even copy to a CD-RW (700 mib) so I can't even get frustrated with the rest of it!!
Why is this happening!?!

You've downloaded the torrent or the actual iso file? How big is the file you downloaded?

The opengeu-8.10-desktop-i386.iso is 687 MB
and can be downloaded from 'http' here
http://download.linux-live-cd.org/iso/OpenGEU/
An iso file will not work, when you copy it to cdrom.
It must be "burned as an image" !

I wrote it as an image and then (once it was 'recordable') attempted to burn it to the disk... check this out... maybe I am just stoopid.

A bug in 'brasero' ? ?
Try using another application, if possible.
