OpenBox - How to put shadows under the windows?

Hello, guys!
I'm using Debian Wheezy with OpenBox and i would like to put shadows under the windows when i open it but i don't know how to do it! I tried this. In my ~/.config/openbox/rc.xml file in part that says: "<applications>...</applications>" i tried to edit this way.

Quote:

<applications>
__<application class="*">
____<shade>yes</shade>
__</application>
</applications>
I tried this way too.
Quote:

<applications>
__<shade>yes</shade>
</applications>
But nothing worked! How can i do that?

Hi,

AFAIK you'll need to use a external compositor to do this. Try xcompmgr which is packaged for wheezy.

Evo2.

What code? Did you run xcompmgr? Did you read its documentation?
