I take it you have a doc or docx file open in MSOffice 2007 in crossover, which includes hypertext. Or you have Outlook running in crossover and you are looking at hypertext in an email. (which?) You want to click the hypertext and have the proper thing happen. When the hypertext is an instruction to load a windows share you get an error message that the path is incorrect?
You need to edit crossovers config file so the path is correctly mapped to your system.
You need a samba client installed on your machine.
Hi Simon, i have outlook running in crossover and i want to open the hyperlinks for the windows shares...

I have editing the fstab file to automount the windows shares but still when i click on the hypelink, i still get the message "Cannot find file <windows share path>. Verify path or the Internet address is correct". Ref the attachement named hyperlink
