Open pages lost when i minimise Firefox


When i minimise Firefox and then maximise again i lose all my previously opened pages.Can anyone help,thanks.

OS Ubuntu 9.10 Firefox 3.5.9

I wonder if you are mistakenly clicking on workspace to switch to different desktop at bottom left corner and when you try to open back you wont get it displayed as you are in different workspace.
Can you see the firefox being minimised at bottom panel?

Yes you are correct thats what iam doing and no i can't see Firefox minimised in the bottom panel.

When you right click on the main menu panel you'll see an option "Add to panel". click on that, select Taskbar from the resulting menu !

Now check whether you are able to see minimized Firefox in it !

Taskbar doesn't show up as one of the options.
