Open GUI mood Partition Table
 

Hi,

I want to open GUI mood Partition Table on RHEL5, which we configure the partition (/boot, swap & / etc.) at the time of Installation, please inform after complete the installation how to open the Partition Table. Normally fdisk -l is shows command mood but, I want the command to open Partition table on GUI mood and can change the partition........Thanks..

You mean you want a gui partitioning tool? Try gparted or qtparted, depending on whether you run a gnome or kde-based desktop environment.

If what you really want to do is reconfigure which existing partition is /home or /boot or whatever, then you need to update the entries in your /etc/fstab file. That can be done in any text editor, as long as you have root permission.

I'm sorry, I don't use RedHat, so I don't know if Disk Druid can be run separately from the installation scripts. You might check /sbin and /usr/sbin to see if the command resides there. But since the partitioning needs after installation are usually different from those during it, you really should check out the other options. parted/gparted/qtparted are the most commonly-used post-installation partitioning tools out there.
