Open dynamic port in NALUS

Dear all,

I hv just installed a Symc Backup Exec Agent Remote for Linux. The menu mentions dat the following ports need to be opened:

Port 10000 (NDMP Control Port)
Range of Dynamic ports. (Example: Dynamic Data Port range : 1025-65535)

However, I'm neither a computer nor linux person, so dat I dunno what should I do now. Anyone can help me? Many thx!!!!

Hello and welcome to LQ.

To allow traffic from or to a port from a remote host you need to check and configure or adjust your firewall rules. Please fill in your distribution details in your http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/usercp.php or update your post (use the edit button) and post your firewall rules.
