oocal in crontab

Hi to all,

When i run /usr/bin/oocalc in a terminal (under kde), it works perfectly. I'd like oocalc opens everyday at 9:00 am so i put it in the crontab but it doesn't seem to start. In /var/syslog, it says "Jul 1 9:00:01 FR /USR/SBIN/CRON[4625]: (fabricer) CMD (oocalc)"
so i guess it ran the command but nothing appeared no the screen.

Any ideas guys ?

f.

Hi, and welcome to LQ!

I guess that's because cron doesn't know about your
DISPLAY ...

Make sure that xhost +localhost is run for that xsession
try
0 9 * * * DISPLAY=:0.0 /usr/bin/oocalc&

Bon chasse :)

Cheers,
Tink
