OMG where is my /root HOUSE icon DIR!!!!!


My house Icon disappeared for the location of file:/root
I am running slack 10
the House icon is on the desktop and on the task bar but it is gone and I do not know hot to reinstate it.
does anyone have any ideas?

Just open up your file manager or just create a new desktop link.. or open up a terminal or console and ls and cd your way thru your filesystem like a real guru does..

premature panic

thanks, I figured it out ,
it was more of a duh moment
being a noob isn't easy, I panic over every little error message.
I expect everything to come crashing down, maybe I still have my windows hangups....
